right shoulder first,
duck left, (the bears left bozo)

Only a cretin would kill a grizz
if they had any other way out. (in this day and age?)
Even a .44 mag seems if'y if stuff gets close enought to require that you actualy act.
How did I get sucked into this anyway?

If the local constabulary will OK a 16" open barrel, and 3 shell capacity I should think one would feel safe enough. You can count on them being if'y if you wanted a full 5 or 6 magazine.
