Hey Guys, Keep It Classy

Guys, when you are on a first date, these are the dumb ways you give away to your date that you watch lots of Internet p0*n. You:
  • Rate women on a numeric scale from 1 to 10.
  • Ask if we shave, and regardless of our reply tell us in detail about the amount and styling of hair you find acceptable.
  • Declare that you hate and will never, ever use condoms, that you can't use condoms, they're really uncomfortable, etc.
  • Have only one erogenous zone, and believe that women have only two.
  • Never read books or magazines (We know that is because you spend all your leisure time watching Internet p0*n.).
  • Complain that your PC runs really, really slowly (We know that's because your PC is full of malware and viruses from Internet p0*n sites.).
  • Declare, and illustrate with finger-in-mouth gesture, that romantic comedies make you sick.
  • Openly and shamelessly tell us, "I'm a single guy, so I watch p0*n, okay?" (If we watched p0*n to get our ya-yas, we would have class enough to keep it a deep dark secret, especially on a first date.)
  • Ask if we squirt.
  • Proudly announce that you do not own a suit. (We know that's because instead of going to weddings and funerals you stay home and watch Internet p0*n.)
  • You took guitar or sitar lessons for a while, but not any more (because all your time is taken up).
  • Ask when we were last tested for STDs. If we ask you, your answer is always "I know I'm all right."

I Set a Tomahawk Trap

Friday night the creature sprung the Tomahawk trap and got away with the peanut butter, stupidly placed (not by myself) on a piece of foil. It grabbed the foil from the outside and moseyed it along out of the trap without triggering the trapdoor and then left the trap yards and yards away in tall grass.

Disgusted for the whole day after that I decided then, after dragging concrete blocks in front of the hole in the wall, to set the trap, but never having set one before I pulled and yanked this way and that for about 15 minutes, before reasoning that:

1. A man probably designed this trap.
2. Men do things the easy way (such as leaving me the trap on a Friday so I would have to set the trap Saturday and Sunday).
3. They can figure out very clever ways to do things the easy way.
4. Man stuff, such as car engines, motherboards, etc., looks much more technical than really is, and is simpler than it looks.

So I went on YouTube and learned in two minutes how to set the trap (lift, push, pull), this time dolloping the peanut butter (a lot of it, to appeal to the greed of the little xxxx) directly on the platform so there would be no shenanigans. Am waiting to see if it works, but I think an actual tomahawk would be better.

Th*ngs Demetrius Used to Say

  • "I'm so glad people are much more polite to me than I am to them."
  • "I speak on the phone. Others yack on the phone."
  • "Quit asking; I can't just pull it out of my a**"
  • "What kind of a sheeny outfit are you people running here, anyway? You ought to be ashamed of yourselves."
  • (When asked why he did not clean the bathroom) "I don't perceive it as dirty."
  • (When asked if he would throttle a baby bunny) "Only if it was bothering me."
  • "Bring me food."
  • "I did not call you stupid. I said, 'Why are you behaving stupidly?'"
  • "Everyone should wake up in the morning and ask, 'What can I do for Demetrius today?'"

Ya Think He Kinda Likes Her?

Neighbor Shelley's suitor has been courting her for over a year. She pays him no mind. So Sammy gifts her with all sorts of artistic creative floral arrangements he builds and leaves at the gate of her driveway. Once he gave me a wonderful hanging plant that he had extra. Shelley lets the stuff rot right where Sammy left it. It's such downright odd behavior that I think Sammy might be her ex.

Sammy stops in front of my house if he sees me workin outside, and is polite, and asks me if I've seen Shelley, and where she might be these days.

This morning I saw a van come and go, and later I saw that Sammy had outdid hisself on this Halloween display. He brought in bales of straw, mums and pumpkins, the cornshocks and skull, the cobwebs he draped over the arrangement and the bushes. If I were her I'd at least give the man the time of day.
